The team comprising of Jamie Burns, Christian Carroll Kenny and Sadhbh Carroll Kenny competed recently in the Leinster Graded Swimming Competition in the National Aquatic Centre.

All three students are studying for their Junior Cert exam this coming June and successfully manage to combine their swimming with their studies. Christian won gold in the the Butterfly Stroke recording a personal best. Jamie came second in both the 100 m Backstroke and the 100 m Breaststroke. This was a personal best for Jamie too. Sadhbh, who started swimming competitively recently, came 4 th in the 100m Butterfly Stroke and achieved a personal best in the 100m Freestyle.

The team plan to compete in other competitions over the next few months including the Gerry Ryan Gala Swimming Competition which takes place shortly in the University of Limerick (UL).

We wish them every success and we are watching this space.
