Last Thursday, Ardscoil na Trionoide’s third years travelled to Dublin to see Shakespeare performed at the Helix, DCU. Some students saw Romeo and Juliet in the morning while others saw The Merchant of Venice in the afternoon.

The plays were performed by the Cyclone Repertory and the students were enthralled by their enthusiasm and dedication to bring Shakespeare to a young audience. The actors brought well thought insights, interaction with the students and a good dose of comedy too.

The students were then treated to a tour of DCU’s modern campus and were given a good introduction to all the different things that third level education can provide.
