Fifth and Sixth year students recently visited Belfast as part of their Leaving Cert course. There, they took a tour of Stormont Buildings, saw where the Titanic was built, wrote on the Peace Wall on the Shankill Road. Some of our Students even wrote their name beside the Dalai Lama and Bill Clinton! We then saw Unionist and Republican murals on the Falls and Shankill Road and learned about the clashes between the two communities as well as their hopes of further unity in the future. The students as well as their teachers. Mrs. O’Carroll, Ms. Redmond, Mr. Kenny and Mr. McCormack really enjoyed the trip
