Ardscoil na Tríonóide School Uniform 2025-2026
Students are expected to respect and wear the school uniform with pride and to be neat and tidy at all times. A high standard of personal hygiene is essential.
The school uniform consists of:
- White shirt
- Round neck school jumper with crest
- School jacket with crest. No other jacket may be worn.
- Optional: There is a school fleece available to for purchase during October only. It cannot be worn instead of the school jumper.
- No headwear is allowed to be worn in school
- A student’s face must be visible at all times during the school day and on any school activities Exceptions may be made in consultation with the Principal
- Plain black shoes only (no boots)
- Dark plain socks (must cover ankles) or tights
- The PE uniform consists of a navy and green Ardscoil na Tríonóide crested top, navy Ardscoil na Tríonóide crested bottoms with green stripes and a school t-shirt. Students are required to wear their PE uniform on the day they have PE, including non-marking runners for use in PE. Students are not permitted to wear their PE uniform on non-PE days. Leggings are not permitted.
School Kilt (Girls) - the kilt is the official uniform and must be worn below the knee with plain black knee-high socks or tights. Girls must wear the kilt on the first day of school and for all official school events. Girls may wear grey tailored trousers for practical purposes, made of woven fabric (no denim, canvas or tracksuit type fabric. No skinny or tight straight leg trousers.
For Boys - grey tailored trousers as described above (no denim, canvas or tracksuit type fabric). No skinny or tight straight leg trousers.
- One pair of stud earrings, one ring and a watch may be worn
- Piercing tapers are not permitted. Students are not permitted to wear face piercing, tongue piercings or visible tattoos
- Make-up must be discreet and kept to a minimum
- Natural hair colours only (no purple, blue, green, pink etc.). Extreme haircuts are not permitted. (e.g. No.1/No. 2 blade, Mohican hairstyles, etc.)
