Women in Sport – Week 2

Week 2 of our Women in Sport module saw us take on Body Attack – a challenging but very exciting whole body workout, given by a trained instructor from K Leisure, Athy.

There was a great turnout again, which we hope will continue over the next few weeks in the build up to the visit from the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy. See Active Schools notice board for K-Leisure class timetable – why not try Body Attack!



Week 3

This week saw our senior girls tackle kick-boxing – a really fun and different activity, one which most of the girls had never tried before!

It was very enjoyable, and we’re all looking forward to Pilates next week, and of course the visit from the WOMEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP!
