The Health Promoting School concept is a whole school approach to all aspects of health and wellbeing. It involves social, emotional, mental, spiritual, cognitive and physical health.

We are proud to confirm that Ardscoil na Trionoide have received a Health Promoting School Flag in recognition of the ongoing work in the promotion of health among our whole school community.

Since we first formed our HPS team in September 2014, lots of work has been done by students, staff and parents and the wider community in promoting the message of positive mental health. Through this work we have also achieved the Amber Flag Award in association with Suicide Aware and have become an Ambassador School for Cycle Against Suicide.

In 2016, our Wellbeing Week saw a huge range of activities in a ‘something for everyone’ weeklong event.

Going forward, we aim to continue the good work which has been done so far with a possible theme change yet to be decided.
