Every year, Athy Heritage Centre holds a writing competition for all students in County Kildare. Last Thursday, our school had the great honour of having two of our students win top prizes in the competition.  Joe Fenlon won first prize in poetry and second prize in drama and Anna Fitzpatrick won first prize in short story writing.

The competition also recognised the high standard from many entrants to the competition from Ardscoil na Trionoide and “Highly Commended” the efforts of the following seven students in particular:

Isobel Duffy, Laura Kealy, Wiktoria Szelemeta, Craig Deane,

Louis Aspil, Bukky Adebowale and Donna Dempsey.

Well done!
